Where ideas come to dance…

When I was a kid, I realized my love for 'projects'—perhaps it was the intensity that came with a finite timeline or the excitement of having multiple projects simultaneously. With these endeavors, failure was non-existent; it was akin to solving a puzzle where you just 'figured it out.' Whether I knew what I was getting myself into or not, anything was possible.

I've always been fascinated by artists and artisans. Yes, their work, but more so their minds—their creative process—their ability to transform a fleeting inspiration into a tangible 'work' that held a story and elicited emotions. In high school, I was introduced to the brilliant ad man and art collector, David Rawle. It was during that meeting I discovered how he used art as inspiration in his marketing and advertising work. At 16 years old, I knew what I wanted to do with the rest of my life.

Art. Music. Theater. Books. Movies—I dove into them all, witnessing worlds being built from scratch and ideas becoming realities. Anything was possible if you could dream it up. Now, all I needed was to build a community of other self-proclaimed 'weirdos' who could bring these ideas, these projects, to life. Thus, a network was forged, including visual artists, musicians, filmmakers, event planners, graphic designers, publicists, strategists, stylists, photographers, fashion designers, collectors, and a multitude of other variations of oddballs—all devoted to creating 'art' in various forms. Now, it was time to make some magic.

Fast forward 15+ years, and our little community has turned countless seemingly 'crazy' concepts into realities: event series, beverage companies, bars/restaurants, apparel lines, non-profits, art exhibitions, fashion shows... and that's just the beginning.

At the end of the day, my goal is to make people happy, to make them smile, and to help them feel more positive about themselves. That's precisely what this community accomplishes—for our own projects and for our clients. As long as the project brings good into the world and puts creativity at the forefront, we're all in.
